What is a Gentleman and Lady These Days?
Corey Lee Wilson - Author
The American Heritage College Dictionary describes a gentleman as: “A well-mannered and considerate man with high standards of proper behavior.” That one sentence is paramount to summing up what every parent expects from any candidate seeking to date their daughter.
And what about the definition of a lady? The same dictionary describes her as: “A well-mannered and considerate woman with high standards of proper behavior,” the same requirement as a gentleman, and goes on to add, “A woman regarded as proper and virtuous. A well-behaved girl.”
